NATALIE STICESEN,
Executive Vice President
Since November of 2004, Natalie has been an integral part of The Halpern Group’s Recovery Management practice. With more than 12 years in the industry, Natalie leverages her accounting and financial management experience to personally work with plaintiffs to find the best structured settlement solution for their needs. Having trained extensively with Founder Richard Halpern, Natalie has experience in every single facet of the structured settlement process, and her compassion and understanding for plaintiffs’ needs is her true motivation.
Natalie’s favorite part of each day is spending one-on-one time with plaintiffs and their attorneys. When she’s not entrenched in developing and presenting personalized settlement plans, Natalie can be found attending mediations, settlement conferences and court appearances.
Originally from Connecticut, Natalie has been in New Jersey for 16 years where she actively volunteers for local animal rescues as well as organizations for battered women and feeding the homeless. Fluent in five languages, she also teaches English to local immigrants. Natalie received her Master’s degree in Finance (M.S.F.) in 2008.
W. Evans Byrd, Jr.,
Assistant Vice President
Evans has been a member of The Halpern Group for over four years, though his experience in the world of trial law actually spans his lifetime. As a North Carolina native, Evans proudly calls himself a “plaintiff bar brat” after spending his early years working with his father, a prominent trial lawyer and long-time member of the North Carolina Academy for Justice. Having been entrenched in plaintiff-side trial law all his life, Evans is passionate about providing plaintiffs with the tools and resources they need to make every day just a little bit easier.
After graduating from Fayetteville Academy, Evans spent the next four years at Wake Forest University where he not only earned his degree in History but also displayed his love for the Demon Deacons basketball and football teams. Evans also spent a semester in East Africa, cultivating his penchant for environmental and human ethics at the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS).
When he’s not exploring the globe, Evans loves spending time outdoors hunting or playing basketball, soccer or golf.
Timothy Denehy,
Vice President, CTFA
With 18 years of experience in financial services, Tim is still continually looking for ways to grow his laundry list of specialties. Six years ago, having already mastered the art of financial consulting and acting as a bank trust officer at Fleet National Bank, Tim found himself at MassMutual Trust Company, where he got his first glimpse at plaintiff-side financial solutions.
Now, as Vice President at The Halpern Group for almost two years, Tim’s dedication to protecting plaintiffs is obvious in every facet of his work. He has worked extensively with creating and administering first party special needs trusts for plaintiffs, and throws himself deep into every case to develop the right financial solution for every individual.
Tim earned his degree in Political Science from The College of the Holy Cross before becoming a Surface Warfare Officer in the United States Navy, where he waved goodbye to the base in Norfolk, Virginia and traveled the globe onboard the USS Nashville.
When he’s not spearheading the Connecticut office, Tim loves spending time with his wife, Barbara, and playing “superheroes” with his five-year old son, Jack.
